DJI AL1 SpotLight

This DJI AL1 Spotlight is a searchlight that follows the movements of the gimbal of the DJI Matrice 4 Series, including the Matrice 4E, 4T, 4D and 4TD. The spotlight offers two modes: continuous light and strobe mode, so that subjects are always brightly illuminated. In addition, it can be synchronized with the gimbal for precise light tracking. The DJI AL1 Spotlight is ideal for night operations, search and rescue operations, inspections and other flights in low light. Thanks to the powerful light beam and synchronization with the gimbal, the illuminated area always remains in view, even with fast or complex maneuvers of the DJI Matrice 4 drone.

Two lighting modes
The DJI AL1 Spotlight offers two lighting options: continuous light for stable and constant lighting, and strobe mode for situations where a flashing signal is needed, for example to attract attention or give warnings. This flexibility makes it easy to adapt the spotlight to a variety of operational needs, from search and rescue missions to inspections in the dark.

Powerful remote lighting
With an impressive range, the spotlight can illuminate subjects clearly up to 100 meters away. This makes it an ideal tool for night operations, searches or inspecting difficult-to-access locations. Even in complete darkness, the powerful beam provides clear and sharp vision.

Smart gimbal coupling
One of the biggest advantages of the AL1 Spotlight is the ability to sync intelligently with the gimbal of the DJI Matrice 4 series or DJI Matrice 4D series. The light automatically tracks the movements of the camera, so that the illuminated area always matches what is in the picture. This prevents operators from manually adjusting and ensures more efficient and safer working.

Wide FOV lighting
In addition to the targeted light beam, the spotlight features a wide FOV (Field of View) mode, which can illuminate a larger area at once. This feature is particularly useful when using a wide-angle camera or when wide surfaces need to be inspected. This keeps the visibility optimal even in difficult environments.

Flexible use with speaker
The DJI AL1 Spotlight can be used separately or in combination with the DJI AS1 Speaker. This flexibility makes it possible to communicate simultaneously and illuminate the work area, for example during rescues or crowd management. By combining both accessories, operators can better respond to a variety of scenarios and respond faster to changing circumstances.

Important tips

Installation: Tighten the screws tightly and ensure good sealing. When using for a long time or in a DJI Dock, use the included hex key to re-tighten.
Matrice 4D Series: Remove the adapter bracket before installation.
Activation & updates: Connect to the internet to activate the spotlight and immediately perform any firmware updates.
Flight performance: Take into account reduced obstacle detection (left/right at Matrice 4 Series, above at Matrice 4D) and slightly lower flight performance.
Spotlight on: The obstacle detection is automatically switched off; fly extra carefully.
Safety: Do not direct the light into people’s eyes.
Heat: The spotlight can become hot with prolonged use; touch gently.

Maximum Power & Illuminance
The spotlight has a maximum power of 32 W and delivers an illuminance of 4.3 ± 0.2 lux at 100 meters and 17 ± 0.2 lux at 50 meters, which ensures powerful and consistent lighting, even at a great distance.

Gimbal Specifications
The gimbal has a mechanical tilt range of -140° to 50° and an adjustable tilt range of -90° to 35°. The maximum tilt speed is 120°/s, while alignment accuracy guarantees a precision of ±0.1° for stable and precise illumination.

Operating temperature
The AL1 spotlight functions reliably within an operating temperature range of -20° to 50° C (-4° to 122° F), making it suitable for use in various weather conditions.
